N. UEMATSU: LULU’S THEME

This work forms part of the first season of Birmingham Game Music Ensemble (BGME).

Lulu, the enigmatic black mage of the party in FINAL FANTASY X, is a character of immense magical power, wrapped in an aura of mystery and intrigue. Her complex personality and otherworldly presence are central to her theme, which this arrangement seeks to explore and expand upon. This arrangement captures the essence of Lulu’s mystique, evoking the sense of magic that defines her character. However, unlike the typical whimsical or fairy tale-like portrayal of magic, this arrangement presents a more serious and suspenseful soundscape, reflecting Lulu’s depth and the darker, more profound aspects of her sorcery.
